We’re looking for a Technology Business Finance Manager to operationally ensure Technology financial performance management across our Technology function. This role is about running Technology like a business and enabling the Technology Senior Leadership Team decision-making by improving visibility, transparency, and forward planning of key spend drivers.
This is a strategic Technology cross-functional partnering role, combining financial insight, governance and cost leadership best practices to enable disciplined investment and performance tracking.
The role reports into the Portfolio Performance and Reporting Lead and will partner closely with Technology Business Managers, Finance business partners, and Technology management responsible for the business aligned value streams, and enterprise-wide IT, Data and Cyber teams.
The role can be based from our Wolverhampton or Chatham and will require occasional travel between all OSB locations.
As Technology Business Finance Manager you will act as a trusted business management partner to technology teams and leadership. You will ensure the quality of financial planning and prioritisation within Technology and oversee the accuracy, robustness and relevance of financial information, supporting effective budget management, forecasting and performance.
Working closely with Group Finance who retain accountability for financial governance and reporting, you will enhance operational cost management within Technology, improve financial transparency and embed strong FinOps, total cost of ownership, and consumption management practices.
This role is ideal for someone who understands technology and technology cost structures, investment planning and financial governance, and can translate complex financial and technical information into clear, actionable insight.
