The digital team play a fundamental role in the transformation and growth of the OSB group portfolio of websites. Supporting the business in the promotion of online and offline activity ensuring we are championing our vision to be recognised as the UKs number one choice of specialist bank, through our commitment to exceptional service, strong relationships and competitive propositions.

 

What you will be doing?

Reporting to the Head of Digital, as the E‑commerce Manager you will have the opportunity to optimise the digital purchase journey and drive growth across our web and app channels. They will refine the end‑to‑end customer experience by improving site functionality, merchandising logic and Conversion Rate Optimisation through structured A/B testing. Using analytics to identify friction points, they will work closely with UX and Tech teams to ensure a seamless path to purchase across our savings and lending brands.

 

Alongside day‑to‑day site optimisation, the role will lead strategic initiatives such as platform enhancements and the development of personalisation frameworks, while supporting strong commercial performance and staying ahead of digital trends.

 

The E‑commerce Manager will also oversee the work of our digital analytics and CRO team based in India.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Working with the digital experience team; enhance site features and navigation to improve user satisfaction and overall site performance
  • Execute a comprehensive Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) roadmap, utilising A/B and multivariate testing to refine page layouts, messaging, and user flows
  • Monitor and analyse the commercial health of individual digital channels, end-to-end; tailoring merchandising logic and promotional strategies to suit specific platform behaviours whilst ensuring that in house teams are engaged and empowered by data and insight
  • Direct online activities that drive revenue growth and meet commercial performance targets
  • Lead on digital commerce trends, identifying and pitching opportunities for innovation
  • Use analytics as a central tool to identify customer friction points and benchmark site performance against KPIs
  • Translate data insights into actionable strategic enhancements for the website and broader customer journey
  • Lead high-impact projects, including platform upgrades, personalisation frameworks, and omnichannel expansion

We offer a base salary dependent on experience from £55000 - £65000.

Do you have the skills?

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Experience in an e‑commerce role with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding digital channels (web & app).
  • Strong expertise in CRO, including designing and executing A/B and multivariate tests to enhance site performance.
  • Proven strategic project management experience, including leading large‑scale initiatives such as platform migrations, personalisation engine implementations, or omnichannel integrations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to confidently present insights and data to senior leaders.
  • While formal line management experience is not essential, you must demonstrate the ability to coach and support team members.
