About the team

The Enterprise Risk Team supports the Group with providing expert guidance in the design, maintenance and implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (titled the Enterprise Risk Management Framework). The framework is a critical tool as it sets out the Boards expectations as to how risk should be managed throughout the Group and is a key enabler to the achievement of the Group’s strategic and business objectives.

What you will be doing?

As a Senior Enterpise Risk Analyst, you will have the opportunity to support OSB Group’s Enterprise Risk Management program. This role plays a key part in managing the business risk profile and will be responsible for contributing towards the development and deployment / application of Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices and policies to anticipate, analyse, manage, and report enterprise risks in line with internal and regulatory expectations.

 

Your responsibilities will include…

  • Support with the design, development and updating of the Enterprise Risk Management and Risk Appetite Frameworks to ensure they remain aligned with the Group’s strategic objectives, business model, regulatory expectations and industry practice.
  • Support with the updating of the enterprise risk register and enterprise risk taxonomy. 
  • Collate and quality control enterprise risk reports for executive and board risk committees in line with predetermined governance frequencies and to the required standard.
  • Support with the design, development and updating of the Reputational Risk Management Framework, responsible for the production of reputational risk reports and the review of the reputational risk appetite statement and supporting metrics.
  • Assist with reviews of enterprise risk sub-level risk management frameworks while overseeing the timely updating of them by framework authors.  
  • Review and update the annual Group-wide Risk and Compliance mandatory e-learning.
  • Update and maintain the Chief Risk Officers SMCR Reasonable Steps Framework and Statement of Responsibilities documentation.
  • Update and maintain the teams risk control self-assessment and control testing in line with framework requirements within the risk management platform.
  • Support with internal audit and external reviews related to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework or information requests from regulators.
  • Management of purchase orders on behalf of the wider Risk and Compliance function.
  • Any ad hoc duties assigned by the Group Head of Enterprise Risk.

We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £48000 - £58000.

Do you have the skills?

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Experience working as a Risk Analyst within enterprise risk, operational risk, compliance, audit within a banking or financial services environment is essential.
  • Demonstrable experience across enterprise risk management tools, including risk taxonomies, risk appetite frameworks, risk registers, key risk indicators, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of banking risks and regulatory expectations, along with strong understanding of ISO3100 and COSO Frameworks/requirements and the deployment and application is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably within an analytical field is essential
  • Risk management qualification or certification in Enterprise Risk Management would be preferrable.
