About the team

At OSB Group, our savings propositions are central to delivering fair value, strong customer outcomes and sustainable growth. The Senior Proposition Manager – Savings plays a key role in shaping, evolving and delivering those propositions across the Group’s brands.

 

Reporting to the Group Head of Savings Propositions, you will lead a small team of Savings Proposition Managers and be responsible for designing and delivering the propositional development roadmap across the Group’s brands, platforms and channels. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will ensure the effective innovation and execution of new propositions, products and enhancements, translating deep customer insight into compelling, compliant and customer-led outcomes.

 

The role can be based from Wolverhampton or Chatham may require occasional travel between OSB offices.

What you will be doing?

As Senior Proposition Manager – Savings, you will work in partnership with the Group Head of Savings Propositions to develop and execute a robust savings proposition strategy that supports cost-effective growth and strengthens the Group’s savings brands, channels and platforms. To be successful you’ll ensure each proposition reflects brand values, resonates with target customer segments and continues to evolve in line with market, regulatory and customer expectations.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the Propositions Managers to develop a deep understanding of customer needs in order to create compelling customer propositions against each of the brand’s strategies. You’ll use data and insight to shape innovation, thinking both creatively and commercially to deliver new, exciting products which help our customers meet their savings goals.
  • Champion our approach by building strong relationships with the wider savings team and influencing other departments from across the group on the delivery of business objectives, ensuring the needs of all parties are fully considered and involved in the design and implementation of any business solutions.
  • Lead key strategic projects and programmes of work for savings, being the savings propositional expert to ensure that the customer proposition and product impact is fully considered, shaped, understood and prioritised in terms of both immediate and longer term strategic impacts.
  • Work closely with the wider leadership team in the management and implementation of all savings related activities and workstreams - from big projects through to small changes and BAU enhancement.
  • Act as the Savings subject matter expert for any VoC, NPS and CSAT customer insight work, taking ownership of any required improvements to the customer journey and lifecycle to drive forward agreed solutions or improvements to the customer journey.

Do you have the skills?

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Strong track record in a savings proposition management role within an FCA-regulated environment, with a proven ability to solve complex problems, translating insight into customer-focused, commercially viable propositions.
  • Demonstrable experience in the strategic development of savings propositions, ideally in a 0 to 1 environment.
  • Proven people leadership and line management experience, and adept at building strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders
  • Specialist knowledge of the UK savings market, including key trends, customer segments and distribution models.
  • Previous experience working collaboratively in an agile environment with a broad range of stakeholders to deliver proposition initiatives and change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders
