About the team

At OSB Group, our savings propositions are central to delivering fair value, strong customer outcomes and sustainable growth. The Proposition Manager – Savings is responsible for supporting the tactical and strategic development of the savings proposition across the Group’s savings brands.

 

Reporting to the Senior Proposition Manager, you will help bring each brand’s values to life by developing and enhancing products and propositions aligned to defined target customer segments. You will also play a key role in the ongoing day-to-day stewardship of the Group’s savings propositions, ensuring they remain competitive, compliant and customer focused.

 

This role works closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the business to ensure propositions are designed and delivered effectively, supporting both customer outcomes and commercial objectives.

 

The role can be based from Wolverhampton or Chatham may require occasional travel between OSB offices.

What you will be doing?

As Proposition Manager – Savings, you will work in partnership with the Senior Proposition Manager and Group Head of Savings Propositions to deliver robust saving propositions strategy that supports cost-effective growth and strengthens the Group’s savings brands, channels and platforms. To be successful you ensure each proposition reflects brand values, resonates with target customer segments and continues to evolve in line with market, regulatory and customer expectations.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Customer & Consumer Duty, Operations, Compliance, Change, Financial Crime, Risk, Marketing and Finance to ensure business solutions are well designed, compliant and deliver against objectives.
  • Contributing to the delivery of key strategic projects and programmes, ensuring customer, product and proposition impacts are fully considered and understood.
  • Working closely with Change teams to support the management and implementation of savings-related initiatives and workstreams.
  • Acting as a savings subject matter expert for customer insight activity (VoC, NPS and CSAT), owning and supporting improvements to customer journeys and lifecycle management.
  • Ensuring a robust understanding of Consumer Duty and regulatory requirements, with all proposition and product changes delivering fair value and positive customer outcomes.
  • Managing ongoing BAU proposition activity, including regulatory, operational or customer journey issues, ensuring alignment to the savings strategy and business plans.

Do you have the skills?

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Track record in a proposition management role within an FCA-regulated environment, with experience translating insight into customer-focused, commercially viable propositions.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting the development of propositions or project delivery
  • Knowledge and understanding of the UK savings market, including key trends, customer segments and distribution models.
  • Previous experience working collaboratively in an agile environment with a broad range of stakeholders to support proposition initiatives and change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
