About the team

The Models and Ratings team provide the Bank with analytical insight through the use of predictive models that support financial decision making across the business, from pricing through to risk.

What you will be doing?

As a Senior Model Development Analyst, Products you will produce analytics and customer behaviour prediction models for the Models and Ratings team and deliver actionable insights into the Savings and Mortgage Product teams.

Working within a new area for the team, you will have the autonomy to drive change and make a meaningful impact.

 

Your responsibilities will include…

  • Working independently to design, develop, document, and maintain customer behaviour prediction models under the direction of the Model Manager.
  • Undertaking model development, monitoring, validation, and recalibration to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Supporting the implementation of models across the organisation by producing clear documentation and assisting with deployment into business processes.
  • Conducting analysis that informs the product lifecycle, including pricing elasticity, churn/retention, and balance forecasting.
  • Delivering timely, accurate reporting and insights to support committees and other senior stakeholders.
  • Producing timely, accurate analysis and reporting to support Mortgage, Savings, and wider business teams

Do you have the skills?

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

 

  • Previous experience of building and implementing models to analyse customer behaviour is essential.
  • Previous experience of working first hand in Modelling and Analytics is essential, within a financial services environment would be advantageous.
  • Advanced use and application of data modelling and data analysis software: specifically, SAS, WPS or similar are essential.
  • Advanced mathematical, modelling and quantitative analysis skills are essential.
