OSB Group is currently on a Transformation journey and at the heart of this, is the implementation of the OSB Group’s Learning & Skills Strategy.

 

OSB Group has embarked on significant technology Transformation programme, which gives the organisation an exciting opportunity to transform its people eco-system. Transformation will deliver significant automation opportunities and seamless end to end customer and colleague experiences. The programme is delivering at pace, using agile practices giving the entire organisation an opportunity to optimise their ways of working and approach to their own function’s skills to adapt for a modernised organisation. OSB Group has entered a maturing stage in its corporate lifecycle making it a prime moment to evolve its approach to the people and skills.

 

As Group Head of People Transformation, you will report to the People Transformation & Skills Director and have the opportunity to lead a broad range of initiatives to drive strategic change and transformation in OSB’s people landscape. You will have oversight of the People Plan for OSB Group combining direct delivery with programmatic skills where initiatives are owned by other teams.  

Please note, this role can be based in either the Wolverhampton or Chatham office and has the benefit of operating within our hybrid-working policy of three days a week on site with two days from home.

 

This role will require interaction across all relevant sites, frequent travel to London required and some travel between OSB Group locations as required. 

What you will be doing?

As Group Head of People Transformation, you have the opportunity to lead the continued development of the Group’s culture and the journey towards becoming a leading and genuine employer of choice within the context of a modernised working environment.  The role will impact OSB Group’s 2500+ workforce in the UK and India.

 

Your responsibilities will also include…

 

  • Execute OSB Group’s strategy to evolve the People landscape as it modernises its internal technology, processes and systems, including implementing change to become a Skills Based Organisation.
  • Lead the Group’s approach to continuous strategic workforce planning contributing to target operating model design and implementation in partnership with the People Operations function.
  • Build OSB’s job architecture and skills taxonomy to support the wider People Function.
  • Support the People Function Leadership team to develop and execute transformative change relevant to the Group’s business strategy and key objectives and keeping at pace with the industry.
  • Lead the People Transformation team, coaching and nurturing talent to create a high performing culture

Do you have the skills?

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

 

  • Previous experience of delivering significant transformation programmes is essential, ideally within a large and multi-location organisation.
  • Previous experience of leading people change within a broader transformation or modernisation project/programme is essential
  • Previous project management experience is essential, demonstrating portfolio planning skills, roadmap and prioritisation skills.
  • Skills relating to resilience and tenacity and in building and maintaining change momentum with the ability to work independently and handle ambiguity are essential
  • Skills in facilitating and encouraging collaboration within and across teams and departments is essential.
