About the team

Our marketing team plays a vital role in promoting OSB and all our services. This in turn helps us work towards our vision to become our customers' favourite bank; one that delivers its very best, challenges convention and opens doors that others can't. The Lending Marketing Team has a clear purpose to create and deliver excellent Business – to - Business marketing campaigns and communications for the Group’s Lending brands that help engage and retain customers.  The team are also responsible for developing and delivering compelling content relating to our products, propositions and customer needs.

 

We are now looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team in either Chatham or Wolverhampton on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

What you will be doing?

As Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead on our strategic partner marketing strategy and activation activities, delivering full mix marketing to support B2B strategies.

 

The Role is required to take ownership for the delivery of the allocated brand marketing strategy, ensuring differentiation from other group brands and competitors. The responsibility spans across comms alignment for the brand (planning and delivery) to support both new business and retentions; working with support and delivery teams to deliver product launches and ensure cross channel delivery plan with adequate follow up messaging; developing, briefing and delivering tactical spotlights; working with the email delivery team to create relevant nurture journeys; developing a content strategy and working with the digital team to implement it; marketing budget ownership and reporting for the brand; sales team support (for example through development of presentation slides).

 

 

Your responsibilities will include…

 

  • Supporting the Head of Comms with strategy planning and ensuring a differentiated approach that flexes to the allocated brand.
  • Take ownership of the allocated brand, working closely with the Head of Comms to ensure all activity supports the development of the brand.
  • Responsible for developing and aligning end to end communications and channel plans that align to tactical spotlights or product launches across acquisition and retention for the brand.
  • Being the go-to expert for the brand, understanding the market, competitors, customer sets, products and the importance of the product mix
  • Responsible for owning the content strategy across the allocated brand.

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

 

  • Previous experience in planning and running successful marketing campaigns in a regulatory environment is essential
  • Previous experience across communications programmes, managing delivery through multiple and diverse channels is essential
  • Strong stakeholder skills, effectively communicating and building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, are key
  • Advanced skills in respect of interpersonal verbal and written communication is essential.
