About the team

The Investor Relations team coordinates the Group’s investor and corporate communications activity across equity and debt investors and the rating agencies. It is a high-profile team heavily involved with the Board and senior management of the business. You will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with existing and prospective debt investors, the rating agencies as well as maintaining strong market relationships with our advisers and banks.

What you will be doing?

As a Senior Debt Investor Relations and Ratings Agency Manager, reporting to the Group Director of Investor Relations, you will have the opportunity to lead the Group’s debt investor relations and rating agency effort and to work closely with and provide support to the Equity Investor Relations team.

 

This is a new position and will give you the opportunity to work across all three disciplines: Debt Investor Relations, Rating Agencies and Equity Investor Relations.

 

Your responsibilities will also include…

 

  • Playing a lead role in designing and managing the Group’s Debt Investor Relations output.
  • Actively managing the debt investor engagement programme with ensuring strong working relationships with the Market and brokers.
  • Designing and managing an in-house rating agency model and carry out analysis of rating agency results to provide feedback to management and the ratings agencies to ensure continuous improvements.
  • Working with the wider Investor Relations team to establish and deliver the function’s three-year plan.
  • Be jointly responsible with the wider IR team for managing external reporting processes including contributing to the drafting of output including slides, scripts Q+A, analysis of OSB and peer results.
  • Travelling for events when required

We offer a base salary dependent on experience from £115,000 - £125,000

Do you have the skills?

We are looking for talented individuals who have the skills set out below:

 

  • Specialist knowledge of the UK and International Financial Institutions debt markets and a robust knowledge of the UK banking sector, its key players, products and competitive dynamics is essential.
  • Skills in respect of understanding and analysing financial statements are essential.
  • Degree and ACCA or CFA qualification or equivalent is essential.
