About the team

As a Business Development Manager you will join the Sales function, an integral part of the Bank helping to achieve its growth strategy across mortgage completions. You will build and maintain existing relationships with our key intermediary partners across all lending brands including Kent Reliance and Precise. This is a field based role where you will work independently but have support from the wider Sales team and report into the Head of Sales for OSB Group.

 

This role will cover 1 of 2 areas and be dependant upon successful candidates home location, which would need to be within the territory covered:

West London and South Coast including postcodes: PO, GU, SO, SL, HP, LU, TW,UB,BN and RH

Bristol and South Wales including postcodes: BH, RG, DT, SP, CF, BS, NP, SA, BA and SN

What you will be doing

As a Business Development Manager you will identify and develop business opportunities from intermediary relationships within defined territory, acting as the day to day contact for intermediary relationship. You will be a strong communicator and provide a high level of service to Brokers, driving forward relationships, providing a more focused support where required in order to deliver agreed business targets. 

Your responsibilities will include…

  • Delivering agreed mortgage loan completions and associated activity targets through face to face relationship management
  • Preparing, maintaining and delivering an account management plan
  • Demonstrating a full understanding of the Group’s product suite and sales process
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication and relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Promoting the overall Group in the UK through attendance at outside events and promotions as required
  • Deal effectively with queries and complaints in accordance with Group guidelines, compliance procedures and standards of service

In return for your commitment

We offer a base salary dependent on experience and a competitive benefits package including:

  • Quarterly sales bonus up to 40% OTE
  • Car allowance

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Strong track record in a sales or account management role within the Financial Services industry
  • Strong knowledge of the mortgage market (products and regulation)
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with demonstrable experience of maintaining strong relationships
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise as re
  • Clean driving licence and own car
  • Strong communication skills with confidence to present information and data in a digestible way
