About the team

The Motion Designer role is an integral part of our Motion team, which operates within the Creative team of Marketing. The Creative team is a dynamic blend of Graphic Designers, Copywriters, Motion Designers, and the Brand Campaign Manager, with whom we collaborate closely to support Marketing and achieve broader business objectives.

What you will be doing

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead visual storytelling with enthusiasm, covering all aspects of graphic and motion design. Your creativity will fuel marketing across various channels like social media, email, video, web, campaigns and brand initiatives.

 

This varied and interesting role, provides you with the opportunity to develop strong working relationships across The Group with a variety of stakeholders, whilst having the autonomy to drive creative projects.

 

This role requires regular travel across the UK.

 

 

Your responsibilities will include…

 

  • Collaborating with the Motion Design Manager to provide comprehensive Motion design support across the organisation.
  • Offering design assistance to the Graphic Design team when needed.
  • Delivering the entire process of photographic and video content creation, from capturing footage to final editing for diverse output requirements.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to interpret briefs and produce innovative, on-brand assets for both internal and external purposes.
  • Developing captivating videos and intricate animations tailored for various platforms such as smartphones, tablets, and web interfaces.
  • Coordinating all aspects of photographic and video shoots, including participant management, activity coordination, and material preparation.
  • Coordinating studio facilities, equipment, and production schedules efficiently.

In return for your commitment

We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £28,000-£31,000 and a competitive benefits package including:

 

  • Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 12.5%
  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Could you be the one?

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

 

  • Advanced skills in respect of Premiere Pro and After effects for video editing.
  • Adobe Creative Suite skills, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator for print are essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of photography, videography, animation, podcasting, graphic design, print, & digital design is essential.
  • Strong creativity and design eye with an understanding of brand design guidelines.
  • Confident when communicating with senior stakeholders and giving constructive feedback.
