This role can be based in either Chatham or Wolverhampton.

What you will be doing

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing technology solutions that align with our business objectives. Reporting to the Group Head of Architecture, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to translate business needs into actionable technical strategies.

 

Your responsibilities will include…

 

  • Collaborate with technical subject matter experts and leadership to identify business capabilities and recommend architectural solutions.
  • Design and implement application architecture across various business applications and technologies.
  • Monitor industry trends and technological advancements to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software products and services.
  • Provide architectural oversight for applications hosted on cloud platforms like Azure.
  • Support Agile project teams by offering guidance on technical and architectural best practices.

Could you be the one?

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

 

  • Experience in Application Architecture, with proficiency in Java or .NET.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly Azure.
  • Strong understanding of development methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps.
  • Certification in TOGAF is essential.
