About the team

We have a great opportunity to join our Savings team as a Savings Product manager. The Savings team are responsible for ensuring that the Bank offers a competitive range of high quality savings products for its customers whilst ensuring we meet the retail funding and margin requirements to support the Group’s lending growth and liquidity. The team provides a wide customer focused range of products via our Kent Reliance and Charter Savings Bank Brands and you will play a key role utilising customer insights to develop and enhance our offerings.

What you will be doing

In this varied and interesting role, you will contribute to the growth and continued profitability of the business by ensuring pricing is aligned to key business targets for the Group’s savings brands. 

 

You will deliver product enhancements, pricing, product and sector reviews, performance and competitor- analysis, forecasts and support on key projects to deliver the required volumes, margin and mix within risk appetite.  You will be joining the team during an exciting period of change, giving you the opportunity to support wider project work to support The Bank’s growth and success.

 

Your responsibilities will include…

 

  • Providing day to day advice to senior management across the business for all OSB brands and savings lines, with a detailed knowledge of the savings market and the competitors.
  • Playing a key role in the launch of new product pricing, from design inception to delivery and sign off, ensuring other teams are aware of their roles as part of delivery.
  • Ensuring all products deliver good customer outcomes and that we meet our requirements under Consumer Duty.
  • Producing and maintenance of analysis and commentary on competitor movements, market analysis, and product performance, flagging material trends, scenario analysis and changes to the wider Savings Team.
  • Working as part of project groups, being the expert and leading from a product, pricing and savings market perspective.
  • Proactviely and regularly reviewing market positioning (rate, criteria, etc.) using accessible market intelligence and research to provide recommendations to the senior manager, and summaries to the wider team and stakeholders to support business decisions and the early identification of problems, working to resolve or mitigate issues.

In return for your commitment

We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £38,000-£50,000  and a competitive benefits package including:

  • Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 15%
  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Could you be the one?

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

 

  • Previous experience in a savings product or pricing role, including larger savings books with multiple brands, product and customer types cases.
  • Previous experience with product pricing launches from inception to sign off is essential
  • A working knowledge of the UK Savings market and a strong understanding of Consumer Duty.
  • Knowledge of Product management, pricing and analysis methods is essential.
  • The ability to organise and problem solve new challenges, and be able to analyse and understand data points, trends and impacts, translating into tangible actions.
