About the team

We have a great opportunity to join our Savings team as a Senior Savings Proposition Development Manager. The Savings team are responsible for ensuring that the Bank offers a competitive range of high quality savings products for its customers whilst ensuring we meet the retail funding and margin requirements to support the Group’s lending growth and liquidity. The team provides a wide customer focused range of products via our Kent Reliance and Charter Savings Bank Brands and you will play a key role utilising customer insights to develop and enhance our offerings

 

This role has the flexibility to be based from our Wolverhampton of Chatham office and travel would be required.

What you will be doing

As Senior Savings Proposition Development Manager you will set the propositional development roadmap for the Group’s brands and ensure the execution and delivery of new propositions, products and enhancements across the Groups brands, platforms and channels.  You will use your previous experience to lead, coach and develop a small team to ensure all tactical and strategic development of the savings proposition is brought to life and supports the values and each individual brand’s target customers.

 

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Working with the Group Head of Savings Propositions and Planning in the development and robust execution of savings propositions and new products that support cost effective growth for the Group and enhance the OSB Savings Brands, channels and platforms
  • Lead key strategic projects and programmes of work for savings, being the savings propositional expert to ensure that the customer proposition and product impact is fully considered, shaped and understood in terms of both immediate and longer term strategic impacts
  • Working closely with the Change team in the management and implementation of all savings related activities and work streams
  • Acting as the Savings subject matter expert for any VoC, NPS and customer insight work
  • Ensure the team has embedded a robust understanding of regulatory requirements such as Consumer Duty, and that any proposition or product developments or changes have fully considered the customer outcome and deliver fair value for the customer
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with the NSSL savings team ensuring continuous improvement to the savings proposition and customer journey

In return for your commitment

We offer a base salary from £55,000 dependent on experience and location and a competitive benefits package including:

Could you be the one?

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Strong previous experience undertaking a proposition management role within a FCA regulated business
  • Robust knowledge of the Savings industry and UK Savings Market
  • Previous experience in managing project delivery across multiple sites
  • Track record in leading key strategic projects and demonstrable strategic development of savings propositions
  • Strong understanding of Consumer Duty and experience in improving the customer journey
  • Previous experience in leading, coaching and developing a team
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and clearly communicate requirements
